I could auction him off for $$$ but what % of the buyin do you think he would be worth?

[/ QUOTE ]

That's for the market to decide. I would think he would go for close to the highest WR value in your regular auction, maybe a bit higher since the team getting him would essentially have a higher salary cap than the other teams. But throw him out there, make the winning bidder pay the amount, and put the extra money in the pool.

k so far I still think just lock him from anybody picking him up is the best move. The supplemental draft thing is decent but then somebody gets him for playoffs and everybody else gets him for regular season games.

I meant auction him just like you just auctioned every other player.

I've never been in an auction where everybody used everything, but my auction leagues are keepers with salary caps.

How does free agency work in an auction league like the one you describe?

Ooh ya, I forgot to mention that which is kinda huge lol.

There is a salary cap for the draft but once its over you can go over / under with free agents / drops, etc...

for example I could trade player X (15 points) for player Y (10 points), it dosnt matter how much they originally went for after the draft is over it is treated like a normal league.

Given your kind of weird league structure, I would say that locking him makes the most sense.
