Re: Endurance Prop Bets (Pool & Ocean) in Turks & Caicos
Yes, I USED to be a part of team AP but am now endorsed by other companies... Grinder and I both had our contracts broken after the Frist bill took effect. Mark and I are friends, but I have no knowledge of any "God Mode" accounts.
For the record, I am aware of the accusations made against Mark (he discussed them with me at length in T&K), and truly believe they are false. As evidence, I offer that he has lost over $1M on AP... I have nothing to gain from saying this, as I am more pissed at AP than anyone ( except for Grinder, maybe), but I believe Mark. All that being said, there are roughly 50 players that travel the "tour". We are all friendly to each other, if not bona fide friends. My very closest friends are people that I have to play against week after week - which brings me to my point: Prop bets are typically made between friends. They are mostly for entertainment and pride, not the $... For instance, several players and I didn't bet Jeff Madsen five figures that he wouldn't run down a bowling lane in Reno and bowl a strike with his head for the money - we just thought it would be funny as hell to watch him try! (btw, he didn't take the bet....) Just because opponenets in a bet are friends does not imply any sort of collusion. |

Re: Endurance Prop Bets (Pool & Ocean) in Turks & Caicos
1) This was easy money for Hazards, and easy money for me who spent most of the bet drinking daquiries and bringing him hot water(I had the most side action on him, so figured I may as well try to help).
2) I was going to bet against McCabe, but am kind of unsure of how good he is in the water, I really think for 100k it could be semi doable when the water is so hot |

Re: Endurance Prop Bets (Pool & Ocean) in Turks & Caicos
When i have no personal knowledge either way, i usually try to find out which side wants the action/event the most.
This time it seems to be McCabe and i just dont see why anyone would think he hasnt thought about or even achieved something like this in the past. Reminds me of the prop during the WSOP where someone had to do 8 rounds of golf or something like that in the full heat of the desert - it was hard but the guy achieved it pretty comforably whilst most people said he had no chance to pull it off. |

Re: Endurance Prop Bets (Pool & Ocean) in Turks & Caicos
Ok... so now that I have been public about my qualifications and beliefs about my abilities to pull off the prop, do we have a group of people willing to put up a minimum of $100K? I'll take action up to $250K (don't wanna be totally broke if I'm wrong!)
Let's meet in Aruba if it's a go! |
