Default Flopped straight on monotone board.

This is from the stars $5 5k gtd. I was top 50 in chips and villain was 2nd in chips with ~450 left (itm). This might be completely standard (maybe not preflop but I'm not so concerned about that) but it annoyed me so I just wanted to check. I hadn't been at the table long and he had the big stack when I joined so I didn't have much of a read.

Default Re: Flopped straight on monotone board.

i duno. checkig the turn is probably super horrible, but i wonder if anyone does it for pot control so they can more easily snap off bluffs on the river (or CRAI semi bluffs)?
