Preflop: Raise
Flop: The pot is small so i would raise now to build it up. Turn: I dont cap this. UTG+2 check-3Bet. I know that I usually limp KJs from EP. SO thats possibly what were seeing here. River: Fold. 5 connected big cards. No one seems afraid of the 10's on board. |

Thanks everyone, makes sense... I'll get there eventually...
On the flop, I guess since both opps put in one bet, if I raise, they'll at least put one more each probably. And then the pot will be bigger, so they're more likely to feel committed to the pot on later streets with weakish holdings like TPTK. It makes sense to me that my worst play was not folding on the river with the 4-straight on the board. I'll raise this flop in the future. I wasn't sure if ATo was strong enough to raise PF with one limper. If it were folded to me I certainly would have raised. I think I capped the turn because I had just read something in SSH about raising if it caps the action, but I hadn't (and haven't) thought it through yet... a little information can be bad! Results: SB had JJ for jacks full on the river, UTG+2 had T9 for T's full on the turn. |
