I'm getting in tomorrow (saturday the 29th). If anyone wants to hit a bar/party/see the town i'd be down to meet up. I also wouldn't mind hanging out doing some touristy things like some watersports, scuba diving, or lounging out at the pools. Just PM me on 2p2. I'll be there playing day 1a. Tuesday October 2nd, 2007 at noon. Hope to meet a lot of you and have a good time.

edit: does anyone know the # of entrants/prize pool, etc?

i'm staying at the radisson till the 4th, but then i'm homeless/getting another hotel because it's booked after that, weird

I fly in tomorrow too. I'm staying in the Raddison. I'll post in this thread if I'm up to anything good (or bad) tomorrow when I get there.

got here yesterday, the resort is REALLLLLLY [censored] nice. beach access is like 30 seconds from the room after some really nice swimming pools etc.

however we went out last night to "the strip"/downtown and man do those bars blow. there were basically only two that had a lot of pepople at them, one was packed with old people (like 40+) and dudes, and the other one was a TON of dudes. me and my brother were pretty sure the 2nd one was a gay bar because we kept getting checked out/motioned over by dudes/none of the girls would dance or talk to us. not cool. so as we were leaving we asked a couple girls if it was a gay bar and they seemed to think it wasn't but whatever. im sure with the infusion of 800 poker players to the immediate area it'll get even worse too. oh wells.

Anybody here playing the main event in the WCOOP tomorrow? Also if I anybody hasnt bought in to the tournament yet I have a ton of UB tourney dollars for sale from winning an extra seat. PM and we'll work something out.
