If villain checks to me, I'm gonna CB the flop and hopefully take it down right there.
Villain could easily have a J here (J10, KJ, QJ, J9, etc) and could also have you drawing against his already made two pair. I'm folding the turn to his bet and not going to get involved in a hand where I feel I'd be drawing very slim. Even if a J rolls off on the river, villain will probably not pay you off and if he does call you're probably just going to split. |
