I hope you're not considering folding this flop.

No i was not considering the fold on the flop as an option there.

Although, i was wondering if calling him down, after he did bet into me on the turn was a good idea.

Raise, but it's close. If it was HU, I'd just call the turn and call down. We're going to see 44-55 a lot here.

Here is the rest of the hand:

Turn: (11.50 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, UTG calls.

River: (14.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, UTG calls.

Final Pot: 17.50 BB

Results in white below:
UTG has Qs 4d (one pair, fours).
MP2 has 5h 5s (three of a kind, fives).
Hero has As Ks (one pair, kings).
Outcome: MP2 wins 17.50 BB.

Preflop and flop are good.

On the turn, MP2 is pretty tight-passive preflop and aggro postflop so I think you're going to see a top-pair hand that loses to or splits with yours a lot. A lot more than 55/44, and you're never seeing K7/K5/K4. Raise it up to try and get UTG out, call down from there.

Serious question. Would you really make a decision here based on assumptions made from stats over 56 hands? Or am I totally misreading your post and this (21.43/1.79/2.88) is not what you are referring to...

Serious answer, no. It _is_ my default play in this situation to try and get it HU, and the small-sample stats support the play.

Ok guys,
What would indicate in this scenario that mp2 flopped a set?
His bets turn and river?
Anything else?
How else can/could you infer that you're beat?
