Warranty of Pokerstars FPP store items?

I ordered a dvd player/recorder almost a year ago. It arrived without any papers whatsoever.
Some 2 months ago it broke down and I contacted the stars store. They sent via email a copy of their receipt, I could then contact the retailer and arrange to have the dvd player picked-up from my personal adress. It had to be sent back to France wher it came from and is now being evaluated and hopefully fixed. The whole process before pick-up took like 2 months and they told it would take 1½ to 2 months more before I got my player back.
