i once went on a mensa held test (brag: scored 168, although that is not super-genius because the standard deviation they use is 24 so the scores are bigger) and this one is quite similar.

Mensa (denmark) IQ test

[/ QUOTE ]

i just scored 170, and i dont even read denmarkese

[/ QUOTE ]

I randomly clicked on buttons and I got an 81.

Actually, an 81 probably would just randomly click on buttons.

this is an interesting discussion but its misguided. it always helps to be smart, but hard work can make up for just about anything.

Of course I promptly used my awesome intellectual prowess to join the army, and then go on to the vast academic expanses that are community and state college.

Typical poker pro probably has 115-120 IQ, and a sociopathic or narcissistic personality disorder.

[/ QUOTE ]

second part is correct but i would guess like 120-130 would be more normal

[/ QUOTE ]

There seem to be a surprising amount of people playing micro-stakes for a living, and if you include them I imagine it brings the total down a bit. If I'm off or if we restrict it to reasonable stakes I'd agree. Probably hardly anyone beating 3/6 NL+ who doesn't have a 120+ IQ.

[/ QUOTE ]

are there really "pros" making a living playing .10/.25nl?

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah in south america and thailand THAILAND THAILAND

PFB, that's two deviations from average (130 = 100 + 2*sprendingen =), which means you fall exactly into 98% percentile, which is enough to join mensa, if you can pull this score on the official testing.
