Re: How much does someone make for being sponsored by a poker site?
This is what thewaccokid said about his hiring on as a FTP pro. $35 an hour for playing on the site, plus 100% rakeback and I get my own website with a banner where I make rakeback from anyone who signs up thru it... also my own cash table and avatar... plus other things like they are flying me to aussie millions and paying for hotel, media bonuses for being in mags and on tv, all kinds of gear, etc... |

[ QUOTE ]
lol@7 million. Where do you idiots come from? [/ QUOTE ] There are two things several of you are missing the boat on. 1. Hachem's appeal is global and fits perfectly into Stars marketing. As Gary mentioned earlier, him not signing with Stars would have been a disaster. Joe may not of realized it but he didn't have to since..... 2. He was smart enough to sign with William Morris. You know damn well his agent knew Joe's worth to Stars. I wouldn't have expected him to have been given a $7M check upfront but certainly if their conditions were met for appearances, tournament play, etc... the total package could easily have been $7M. |
