Best 4 spreads?

Dal -11.0 over St.L. I think this one is my fav pick.

Chi -3 over Det. Chi humiliated in prime time with Griese starting. Chi D should force Kitna into several INTs.

TB -2.5 over Car.

NE - 7 over Cin.

I also like Philly over NYG. Not sure if I want to jump on Philly's bandwagon yet, but I'll lean more towards them if Lito is playing or Plaxico is out.

I also like Atl money line and Oakland to cover 3.5, but won't bet them as hard.

Nice picks, are you sure with Chi -3? Last I heard was CHI was going to be playing without 6 starters on defense. Plus with them playing awful football as of late, does that play a role in your selection?

So what factor in the NE/Cin game do you think is being overlooked? Most people would like to hand NE the Lombardi trophy today and call it a season.

Also, I think you mean TB +2.5.

Yeah that should be TB +2.5. I like them even more haha. ML too.

NE/Cin is basically two high powered offences except NE will get way more stops. I like NE by at least 2 TDs.

Chi is a tossup I won't bet hard. I'm thinking the team will rebounce and Griese will capitalize on the chance to win the QB job (like Anderson did with Cleveland the first game at Cincy). Betting on the team humiliated in prime time the week before is rarely a bad pick, imo.

Green Bay -3.5
It's always good to see another person's opinion on a game. This may not work all the time, but I do beleive in experts' wisdom of the crowds and count the number of people who post on a certain game. For the Green Bay @ Minnesota game, the majority are going for Green Bay. Looking at the stats a little closer (Statistics Beats the NFL Point Spread) led me to beleive that Green Bay is a good choice for this since they have demonstrated to play well at Minnesota, they are currently being underated by the line, and are on a "hot streak" in terms of yardage.

You could probably make a living polling the majority of the people who post here and betting the exact opposite every week. Especially in the NFL.

The Pats are playing with a ginormous chip on their shoulder.

Hmm, I don't really consider that a factor. These guys are all professionals. Motivation is just something that media and squares hype up and has no real impact on football games. Just like how LT wasn't going to lose to the Patriots because OMG they insulted him last year.
