Re: AKS in the BB facing a 3-bet
Even just against KK you only need 2to1 so if you make any 4bet here you are committed. You can just shove here and eitehr pick the pot up or hope for a coin flip. Or the stop and go might work well. If you miraise you will have enough for one big bet/shove on the flop

Re: AKS in the BB facing a 3-bet
I like a raise to $75 / Call shove, however, that line makes it very hard to play the flop if they call and you miss.
Alternatively, I might flat call here as our hand is well disguised and we make a minimal investment with a hand that plays well multi-way. If we miss, it’s easy to dump. If we hit, it’s easier to extract. Shove is OK, but it’s unlikely you get called w/ worse imo. |

Re: AKS in the BB facing a 3-bet
Thanks for the input - It isn't really a 2-part question, the hand plays itself from this point.
I didn't listen to Grando and raised, although higher than what some of you thought. Why should we only raise 2.5 to 2.75 times his 3-bet. Thanks, Absolute Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (6 players) Shadow33 is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, CO raises to $10, Button folds, SB raises to $30, Shadow33 raises to $102, 2 folds, SB calls. Re: AKS in the BB facing a 3-bet
I tend to agree with cfb. I would bump to $100 or just shove. Since you have an A and a K, it is less likely that you are dominated although I don't like how many people are interested in this pot. It looks like you are drawing to 5 outs at best PF. CO raise is std with any real hand imo, so you can prob write that one off with this party in the pot.
All that said, I think I stick it in here (pf) and vroom vroom... as played, nh sir. |
