Re: another low type hand
But I was wrong about your customer. It does show the need for accurate river play. This time that player turned a profitable call into a -ve EV bet, thanks to your unexpected raise. But he may have scooped if you'ld had a 32 Lo counterfeited, so I hope you would not have folded A's up for 1 bet.
Thanks for your questions, I've learned a lot by really working on the hands. I'm not sure what's going to be more profitable, against such a player. Turning into a Fish, or doing the driving. The key on the flop, is how likely the button is to be "at it". If he'd 3-bet you predictably often enough on a move like that, then you want it Heads Up (pre-flop raise into him), or be sure the blinds are on "real hands" when they play. |

Re: another low type hand
This one's insane.
You raise pre-flop 2 off button with Ah Kh 2s Ac, get cold called 1 behind you. Board [Ad 6s 5c Js 4c] You got called down, flop and turn, do you bet the river? I did, and got called by [Td Jh 9c 7s]! This is in a $1/2 game, just below your $2/4 but not at peak Fish time. May be you see why I'm so skeptical about deliberately bluffing and making an elaborate move (I do it by accident often enough)! |
