Ok, I didn't actually take your word for it, but figured it out myself, and sure enough, 52.5% is enough.

Which makes my other question completely irrelevant.

So no, I wouldn't fold after all. It is a lot closer than I thought, though.

Oh and since I already know it's coming (54% is too big an edge to pass up), answer this question:

100 $30 games, first hand, your opponent has AsKd every game, and pushes. You have 5s5d. 53.95%-45.52%.

Is calling every time a profitable situation?

Read this post . I just answered it a little while ago .

And I already said that question was due to my own confusion about how much you really needed to win to beat the rake.

ran into 2 other similar situations :

Both of them 1st hands of a HU SNG :

1) AKs raise to 3bb opponent shoves, call right ?

2) 99 raise to 3bb opponent shoves. hero ?

OP - autocall - AQ is ahead of a huge portion of his range, and not far behind when it is behind except to AA-QQ, AK.

1) Instacall

2) Be tempted to fold - very likely to be a coinflip.

Phatjeffery, I'd make my cut-off at about 88+ .

There was a thread posted here about opponent shoving with 66+ . You may want to read that too .
