I have won $18.65 with KK over the last 27K hands
playing NL100 and NL200 (mostly 200). Awesome.

[/ QUOTE ]

It is unbelievable. When I get a big pair in BB, they always fold. But they always raise when I have 72o.

Of course, you have to keep in mind that when you get a big pair there's two big cards out of the deck that your opponent cannot have, dropping the chances that they have a raising hand.

...or they could be seeing your hole cards. Not sure which.

You are right. But 76 is also a raising hand, not just high cards.

thats just a different side of variance. For a couple of dozen matches thats gonna happen everytime you pick up a big pair and the next 20 youre gonna win 10 by pfAIs with AA and KK.

I know. I am on my biggest losing streak. Glad I have an exam so that I will have to start to learn, taking a break from poker soon.

My mantra since the beginning of this month has been:

"You have cashed out 10x more than you have ever deposited, so you're ahead overall. It's not *that* bad".

I've had to repeat that to myself over and over, to keep from quitting entirely.

But...WHOOHOO, I think I might have *finally* started to escape from the evil nasty slump I've been experiencing. (knock on wood)

In the past 5 days, starting with about $80 (and hitting as low as $5 while having 3 $5 games open), I've been 3-tabling regulars all the way from $5 to $50, with about a 61% winrate over 280 games (yes, I really am playing an average of over 50 per day 3 tabling. that's kinda sick now that I think about it, huh?), for about $800 profit, with a total ROI across all 280 games of almost 16%.

Only like $2200 more to go before I'm back to where I was at the beginning of the month. :/

I have had KK another 5 times since that post (I really should play more) and I´m still up exactly $18.65

Poker sure can mess with your head and emotions.
