Re: 2007 Pac 10 football thread
I thought I'd cross post this over here, since it is so outrageously laughable.
I don't normally get in on the press bashing threads because, well, I just don't read that crap. Unfortuantely, this one was on the front page of ESPN NCAAFB. web page Synopsis. USC *might* play a more difficult schedule than LSU. NO [censored] SHERLOCK!!!! Does he not realize that the Pac-10 plays an one more confernence game than the SEC? That's one less cupcake. Does he realize that USC schedules the toughest non conference schedule of any team in a BCS conference? Does he not realize that the Pac-10 is arguably the toughest conference top to bottom in the nation? I took a look at the Sagarin strength of schedule ratings, and by that measure, the last time LSU played a more difficult was 2001! LSU was ranked 20th and USC 24th! In the last 9 years, USC has played a top 10 schedule four times, and the 11th toughest twice. LSU? ZERO!!! |

Re: 2007 Pac 10 football thread
WSU UA is compelling the way watching two fat chicks fight might be.
Also Cal/Oregon is clearly a pretty interesting one. |

Re: 2007 Pac 10 football thread
i played fball against brink before he graduated. guy is a smart, shifty player... def not a great arm but somehow had stuff work out for him in random ways. i think you're probably giving him too hard of a time for playing on a team that prob doesnt do a lot to help him out
cal/oregon is the one we're all watching this week, go ducks |

May I ask what school you were at? I ask because I went to South Eugene, class of '02... Anyway, to prevent thread hijack I'll say something related to Pac Ten football now: Go Ducks!!! |

Re: 2007 Pac 10 football thread
Brink's looked a lot better these past few weeks.
My biggest beef with him is that in theory he was starting because Swogger/Rogers had better arms, but made worse decisions. Then Alex makes a bunch of stupid choices and throws hells lame ducks. It's unsightly. |

Re: 2007 Pac 10 football thread
Cal at Oregon Update: WR Brian Paysinger is out for the year for the Ducks after knee surgery. I've also heard rumor that Jerimah Johnson has a bad hammy and won't play on Saturday, but I have not yet seen it in print.
Oregon is so deep at WR that Paysinger won't be a huge blow, and it now looks like Jonathan Stewart might get 30+ carries if the game dictates. |

Gameday is up in Eugene too--so, make up some good signs deriding the SEC people, especially about Les Miles and the rest of the stay at home conference.
