Epassporte problems - any one knows anything ?

hi ,

during the last 24 hours i was not able to reload epassporte using a credit card.

"Your transaction has been refused by your bank."

which is a message i get before the screen of varified by visa screen ( so this cant be decliened by the bank ) .

I spoke with the bank and they dont see any attempts to charge the credit card.

so i called E-passporte and after 3 hours i found out how to get the support to answer ( you simply choose the "1" option to report a compromised account - this is the only way you will get support on the line in 2 minuts all other attempts to get the support on the line took me 20 min and the line was disconnected after 20 min hold ).

So i spoke to support and they told me they have a major problem with CC reload - something have to do with american
banks or so ... I dont know exactly what the problem is ...
but they say it is a major problem and they are not sure they will be able to fix it. ( but they are working on it).

I tried to understand what was the problem - technical or something else but could not get out any info about it...

Anyone has a clue of what is going on ?

Epassporte is a joke. They don't accept mastercard, their echeck deposits take 4 days. Why anyone would use them to deposit is beyond me.

When is the last time you used E-passporte ?
you can now instantly reload and have the $$ from your bank
and it only cost 2$ per reload.

theier support sucks , but right now it is probably the only good way for many people to deposit $$.

Um it says I have to wait until monday for the funds if I deposit today. Also the load fee is 5.00 for echeck not 2.00
