Re: help me find a fold
[ QUOTE ]
am i the only person who noticed that the HH looks doctored? hero's actions dont appear in red if he checks in any converter i've ever seen. also, there is a lot of bad advice in this thread. as the hand played out, i would be like 90% sure i had the best hand. turn is a definite bet, river almost definitely a c/c in my opinion. [/ QUOTE ] lol does it matter if the hand happened or not? the situation is common (but nice catch.... maybe absolute should hire you) |

Re: help me find a fold
[ QUOTE ]
POW, you bring up that he is more likely to bet than raise. While this is true, you are forgetting to compare villain's betting with worse hands vs his calling with worse hands, since we all agree if he raises, hero is beat. I would say he is very unlikely to vbet his pocket pairs and only somewhat likely to vbet AQ or AJ. Given our hero's image, villain is probably way more likely to call down light. [/ QUOTE ] Thank you, good point! And if villain is a thinking player, he is likely to know, even if hero is LAG, that betting river will get almost no calls with worse than AQ+ Poker is like ogres... |

Re: help me find a fold
it would be cool if everybody stopped using preflop stats to determine how villain plays postflop. He either has 77/99, a missed draw, or some weaker A that he played because he got bored like all nits do sometimes.
If we have some reads that tells us he will play draws passively, then ch/c the river. If we have no clue, just bet and let him decide what he'll call with. |
