Re: $11 NLTRN - Simple Medium Pair
Wouldn't surprise me if your range is giving villain too much credit.

[ QUOTE ] Wow, I never realized the gap was that significant. I always thought AK vs 99 was like 48/52. [/ QUOTE ] 45/55 is w/ the range I gave above which included a few overpairs. AK vs 99 is closer. [/ QUOTE ] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] vs. 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is 44.16/55.53 according to the hand calculator I looked up. |

[/ QUOTE ] I agree with this, although I'm really starting to think there are enough differences between the average player at FT and PS that it really does matter. I run into people all the time who will 4-bet all-in with *any* pair, including 22, and a fairly wide range of aces and kings as well. In fact, I would be willing to bet that out of the 50 or 60 games I've played in the couple days, I could find at least 2 or 3 situations where an opponent 4-bet with 22-66. I know for sure it happened at *least* once last night, because I lost one AK vs 22 or 33 race for sure. |
