Re: 30PLO turn quads facing minraise?
fold preflop against a raise.
now minraise back. or pot. or whatever. utg+1 has like ~$7 behind and the pot is ~$22 big. if he folds his aces to bet, he folds them to any bet. |

Re: 30PLO turn quads facing minraise?
Fold preflop.
"No, not kidding. Although hand selection is clearly not one of my strengths, I like to think that I can outplay 98% of my opponents post-flop" - everyone alive who plays Omaha thinks this, welcome to the game! Make it $8.50, then body slam the river. |

No, not kidding. Although hand selection is clearly not one of my strengths, I like to think that I can outplay 98% of my opponents post-flop. I literally see almost 70% of pots and have a 14BB/100 ratio through over 35k hands now, so it seems to be working. My only point was that Omaha is not as much of a nut-peddling game as so many of the posters seem to make it out to be, especially in a 6max lower limit game. Re: 30PLO turn quads facing minraise?
I am interested in seeing the tables that show your vpip and BB. Low to mid-30s common numbers from some of the reported winners in this forum, so I am always interested in outliers.

Re: 30PLO turn quads facing minraise?
Everyone's mentioned preflop.
Flop you mincheckraise and your mincheckraise isn't even for half of the size of the pot? This looks pretty bad to me. You can donk this flop too as another option. Your betsizing on the turn is equally horrible. $2 into $15? Come on. |

[/ QUOTE ] Sigh... I can't believe some of the responses in here sometimes. FWIW, Gordo is probably one of, if not THE biggest winner who posts here regularly. You don't have to incorporate it in your game, but to dismiss his view without thinking about it foolish. |

Minraise. Pot the river. People who do this stuff hate folding here.

Re: 30PLO turn quads facing minraise?
Just coz he's a big winner doesn't make him right. This is a trash hand to play from the blinds. It's much more difficult to outplay people when you're OOP on every street with bad relative position, especially when you're fighting uphill.
