Re: QQ, bad flop, turns a gutshot...
Just fold the flop. You dont have to win every pot, did you know that?
If he keeps donking try and get a note on what he does it with. The turn is closer to a call than the flop. You now have 4 more cards to improve over Ax and Kx and you might get a free SD if villain gives up on the river. That said you need to fold the turn as well. But flop play is pretty bad. |

DM, all I can say is that a couple of weeks ago we were criticizing you for giving your opponents too much credit. Here you give him too little. Fold the flop.
As to raising the flop for a free turn: hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. With a read that he's an incorrigible bluffer that doesn't have a fold button on his client, you might make a high-variance value raise. |

Would you raise the flop? DONT RAISE A MARGINAL HAND IF YOUR OPPONENTS RANGE IS EITHER A HAND THAT CRUSHES YOU OR A STUPID BLUFF THAT WILL FOLD TO A RAISE! Corollary: DONT RAISE DONK BETS! |

CANT TAKE IT BACK NOW ROUND TWO BEGINS! [/ QUOTE ] No way. I actually have more than $1.43 now, and I am trying to get my Limit game tightened up so that I can hopefully grind out a roll suitable for something more than .02/04. Boz ain't geting my money any time soon (unless he drops by the Stars .02/04 tables). But back to this hand - occasionally I will read a response of "peel one off", in regards to calling one SB when overs hit vs. your pair. In my case here, it seems a fold on the flop was in order. Is this simply because the pot size is so small? If I had 4 other players in the hand that called the PFR and then the flop bet, would that have been a "peel one off" situation? |

Re: QQ, bad flop, turns a gutshot...
i dont think you can ever call this flop without an absolutely huge pot.
would need an exact situation, but for a big enough pot you will have a lot of players in. that means you will have 1 out (Qh), or 0 outs (against JT) sometimes ppl are b/f here (in the posted hand), and a flop raise as the last money put in to the pot would be justified. but you need a solid read for that. |

just fold the flop. Your reverse implied odds are horrible.
