Re: 200NL- KQ on K44r flop
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] b/f turn, b/f river. As played river is just meh. [/ QUOTE ] You think double barreling is gonna get the most value outta 55-JJ? Or someone might think you're FOS and raise with those hands? I like the way you played it OP, nh. [/ QUOTE ] I use both the b/f and the c/c in this types of situations, against this guy i like the c/c better due to him being ocer aggressive but with his betting pattern here it really seems like he is valuebetting and there is a good chance that you are beat. Does he ever play KJ/Kq this way, would he always 3b pf with AK? |

Re: 200NL- KQ on K44r flop
If you're ahead on this river, it's because villain is firing a 2nd barrel bluff on a float. You're not ahead of any hand he's legitimately value betting. I have a hard time believing he's firing another barrel as a bluff often enough to make this a call.

Interesting spot. Without reads, I think river is a fold and likely not even close. Like other streets.

Re: 200NL- KQ on K44r flop
I've noticed ppl don't 3bet AK when there is a utg raise all the time. I have a hard time excluding that from his range. I would think that 1010 would check the river after you cold called the turn. The river screams AK or a suckout 99.
I would side w/ a fold. |

Re: 200NL- KQ on K44r flop
check calling turn and river on this dry flop is typically a bad line imo. i would much rather bet fold turn here and make it easy.

Don't people love to float you on these flops? Why not let him bet the turn? If I bet the turn again he's folding everything except 4's and 66.

Re: 200NL- KQ on K44r flop
Unless you see him double barrel bluffing a lot i'd lead the river for a small amount so he doesn't check behind with hands that might call a bet.

Re: 200NL- KQ on K44r flop
Also I wouldn't look at his river AF without looking at his WTSD and WSD. He could be uber aggresive on the river but if he's usually ahead by the time all the cards are turned over you can't call him bluffy.

[/ QUOTE ]if this is ur plan then u cant let him fire 2 value bets then. i dont think many people r capable of floating then double barreling the turn and river as bluffs. especially not on this board. their r no draws that u coulda missed. and i doubt he is tryin to make u fold tp too often. idk i just hate c/c 2 streets in a row. seems as tho i am never ahead when that happens. peoples bluff frequencies just arent high enough to do this all that often imo |
