Re: OT: [censored] thread, September, READ RULES IN TOP POST
I wasn't in this hand, but figured I'd post it here because it is literally teh most [censored] up hand I think I've ever seen above the .10/.25 level:
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/$4 Blinds - 7 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $443.80 BB: $314.60 UTG: $675.90 UTG+1: $392.00 MP: $84.00 CO: $307.70 BTN: $512.70 CO posts $4.00 Preflop: is dealt (7 Players) 3 folds, <font color="red">MP raises to $18.00</font>, CO calls $14.00, <font color="red">BTN raises to $78.00</font>, SB calls $74.00, MP calls $60.00, <font color="red">CO raises all-in to $305.70</font>, 2 folds, MP calls all-in for $6.00 Uncalled bet of $221.70 returned to CO Flop: ($324) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In) Turn: ($324) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In) River: ($324) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In) Pot Size: $324.00 ($3 Rake) CO had 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a straight, Eight high) and WON (+$239.00) MP had A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (Ace Jack high) and LOST (-$84.00) |

Read ScottishBen's reply... [ QUOTE ] The swings in Sngs are actually significantly lower than in a cash game. The tourney aspect actually controls the wins/ losses. In a sng you ether lose buy in, get it almost doubled, or win a little more. The losses/ wins are controlled and after 20 or so games you will know roughly where you are at (1 table sngs). [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I am happy to put my life on the line and say that however terrible your luck you would need to be in the bottom .05% of bad luck not to get 1st in 20-30 games if your skill is there at low level poker. [/ QUOTE ] |

If he means one win in 20-30 $6.50s or something, that might not be way off.

Re: OT: [censored] thread, September, READ RULES IN TOP POST
so, after 15 hrs sleep I wake up to STTF just to see a lot of really stupid threads. I'm going on a locking spree. I'm locking anything close to borderline.
Just a heads up. |

This maybe giving MP too much credit, but it is certainly a [censored] spot. He is definitely ahead of CO's range. So, it depends on his read on the button. If button is capable of squeezing light, then it's not bad and his call will even get better hands to fold. CO on the other hand is a moran. |
