Live $100 Is AKs good considering action in front?

It is a $100 live MTT at Showboat in AC. The Blinds are 300/600 with no ante.

EP has 4000
MP has 22000
I'm on the button with 11750

EP has been playing LA, raising a lot of pots. MP is solid.

EP is all-in
MP raises to 8000
I have A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. What do I do now?

where in tourney? ITM? blind speeds? I dunno...online I gamble here cause I like to build my stack...live I may pass but probably not

Allin. You have to be EV+ here and ahead of both villains' ranges.

I am nowhere near the money. Blinds go up every 20 minutes.
I shoved all-in and MP called for the extra 3750. When I flipped over my hand MP and another player not in the hand said that I should have folded. I conversed with them a bit about my rational for shoving but they would have none of it. I'm glad you guys agree with my action. BTW, EP had QQ and MP had AKo. QQ ended up winning the main pot and we chopped the side. I did have 4 hearts on the turn but could not river that last heart which would have given me a nice stack.

Where you at the Showboat yesterday? JK, but I guess there is an argument for folding, maybe if i was deeper I might have mucked, but the blinds were going to 400/800 in a few minutes.

You’re stack is big enough to steal even at the next level. I don’t see why you need to play this. Sure the first shover can have a wide range, but even LAG’s aren’t suicidal this short. Best case scenario we are racing with either an ace or king being in the shovers hand. Worse case is obv.
