Re: 10/25 6max set i play bad and have a river decision
Arbian Night is a pretty big nit, so I would check this river against him, and expect to be oversetted a lot.

Re: 10/25 6max set i play bad and have a river decision
well i suppose i know that now but at the time i had no idea arbiannight was tight and im not going to assume someone who plays on UB and i have seen before playing nosebleed on ftp is tight
i think since several v. good players in this thread disagree on check or bet/shove that it's probably pretty close between the two. i think shove is better w/o a read that the player is extraordinarily tight. my logic was/is that he NEVER has AA/QQ here, right? there's just no way imo. and i dont think he would call turn with TT. so basically i thought most of his range was made up of AK/AQ/hands that if they were going to call a bet would call a shove. so i shoved into KK holla. |

Re: 10/25 6max set i play bad and have a river decision
i was posting under the assumption that he is very tight and will probably fold AK, it is probably a bet if youre assuming random

valuetowwwwwwwwnnnnnnnn....!!
Your hand looks like a bluff a lot in this spot and even if he's smart enough to fold AK/AQ he won't feel good about it. If he's got a bigger set then his line sucks here and you should tell him that when/if he turns over KKK. |
