fold or limp pf are > raising. as played you might as well push that flop, the pot is big enough.

The word but when u limp Pre do not get married to TPTK, if u face some action.

Exactly why I muck pre. When 10 tabling, it's easier and it's hard to play postflop.

I feel like mucking this preflop is so terribly terribly bad. Coming from a cash background, i guess i feel more comfortable with deep stacks than some other people, but there is SO MUCH GODDAMMED VALUE you are missing by folding here. We have position. We have a great hand against one limper's range. Yes, we might not hit TPTK but that's ok because we have position and we should be a better postflop player than our opponent, who is typically a donk. You cannot be scared of hands like this, imo. you just can't be. Learn to play good poker, not just the "only play JJ-AA/AK until i can pushbot" kind of poker.

good hand vs. his range + position + better postflop ability = omgwtfbbq yes i am raising this every time.

Don't get married to the hand.

As early as this hand is in the game, any non premium hand is marginal. Way to early to start playing marginal hands. If you are goimg to play marginal hands keep them as cheap as possible. As soon as the queen hit the flop you have to fold... AJ on the button (as are mid pairs) is playable only because of position. But if called you must play very very tightly...

my opinion only...

I really advocate for a call pre-flop.

The reason I want to call here is the same reason I'd fold AJ in early position at a full table. Pre-flop we're beaten by AK, AQ, pairs, and God forbid we're up against a big pair. Why invest money in a marginal hand? Since there have been folds + limp, it's pretty safe to say we'd be fine calling and seeing a flop. If we hit Jacks as our top pair we're usually set, but we have to be careful when an Ace hits the board.

Of course, just calling invites marginal hands that might beat us on the flop, but I'd rather risk that than getting too involved with a mediocre hand.

OMFG don't fold this preflop - it's so easy to play postflop.

Oh wait...

Preflop: I'd play it the same.

Flop: Probably the same. But a shove wouldn't be bad.

Turn: ugh...very bad spot. I'd make a crying....fold. You're only beating KJ now, which I think usullay c/c's rather than betting.
