Re: Big draw..... Big stacks
ok, I like leading flop too, I just don't think c/raising is that bad. He's not gonna 4bet everytime w/ a monster and we will still have big pot built for those times that he slowplays and we hit. If he just calls our c/raise w/ something like AJ, AQ, AT we can probably get those to fold w/ another turn barrel.

Re: Big draw..... Big stacks
fold pf, i know most people c/r here but if u dont mind sticking in a double stack but maybe getting him to fold AQ AJ then bet/3bet seems fine. gambol gambol.

Re: Big draw..... Big stacks
PF is OK 200+ BB deep. I would vary my play on the flop between checkraising, bet/3betting, and check/calling. (probably in that order of likelyhood).

Re: Big draw..... Big stacks
ok so a lot of different views on what is the best line.
when the flop came down, i was like wtf, thats nice. but this hand was on a fast table and i was slow to act trying to think of a line when i got timed out and auto-checked, (i would have b/c if i had had more time btw) i decided to just call his cBet. Pacific Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.5/$1 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $266.15 UTG+1: $35 CO: $426.12 Button: $193.45 SB: $76.3 Bubaloo: $241.96 Pre-flop: (6 players) Bubaloo is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG raises to $5, 4 folds, Bubaloo calls. Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($10.5, 2 players) Bubaloo checks, UTG bets $9, Bubaloo calls. Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($28.5, 2 players) Bubaloo....? well thats a nice card. c/r or b/3bet? |

Re: Big draw..... Big stacks
He can't see you on JT. I hope he flopped big and bet 20$ (looks like a blocking bet, he can be tempted to raise it).
If I pot, I am affraid that he just calls, cause he is a nit. Ck-raise is great too. |

Re: Big draw..... Big stacks
I think it is close between c/r and b3b. Your hand is soo huge and his range hits that board hard. You probably get it in here without a lot of trouble. As long as you don't just call, I'm happy with any action.

As said earlier it just really looks like a blocking bet and with your flop action this goes nicely. If you were to bet/call in this spot then I think a C/R would be more appropriate. btw nh |

Re: Big draw..... Big stacks
There is a good chance a nit is going to slow right down on that turn card. You are only now getting paid off with if villain has a set. Bet pot and expect to be called down.
