I think that 77;88 make up a big part of it after his action on thr turn. U have a huge draw, but u need 2 to 1 (if all 15 outs are clean) to make calling EV+ on the turn. If he has a made hand, even a badly-played AA, u still have to fold. U shouldn't post the river action...but i guess u lost to Axss? |

Hi MJ,
My goal in life is one day to play as well as you, so in the interest of discussion rather than advice... I don't think this works. If this were a clear case of 15 outs vs. 2+:1 odds, then obviously you're fine. For example, if the flop were AsKd8d, one could assume that UTG is on Ax, Kx, or 88 and make the calculation. But as it stands, there seems to be a reasonable probablity either that nines or both nines and sevens aren't outs. As the "15 clean outs vs. overpair" scenario barely works out with current pot odds (unless you think you can get substantially more from SB), then I think this is a fold. |
