Default QTo vs. aggro bb

just a general preflop question.

bb has 200bbs and is a solid TAG who plays pretty well in general.

folded to you in the sb, you cover.

what hands are you opening here? assuming villain is gonna be using his position well and putting you into some tough spots b/c of stack sizes.

i would me opening a lot of hands here, but am playing very laggy lately. almost anything suited (but it was suited ldo) but also anything non suited, it really depends on opponent, but i would open a lot, want to test how far i can go and what skill i am up against, etc

I fold a lot of weak hands that just aren't worth playing OOP, like weak off suit aces and Kx/Qx hands,if he's at all weak or folds his BB too often then I'll really open up my range but against a solid player who'll be reraising light and floating us a lot I think it's fine to tighten up your opening range. I'm still gonna raise all pairs, broadways, and suited aces and suited connectors.

Furthermore you can start 4-betting light (being so deep) if he starts 3-betting you a ton. Changing tables is also an option

yea, I think this is pretty solid advice. I mean, if I'm in his spot. I'm taking a flop w/ anything I can hit huge with and I'm gonna be peeling a [censored] ton as well b/c we're deep. so it puts me in a ton of tough spots w/ middlepairs and [censored] when he's peeling the flop so light and I have no idea where I'm at.
