Stars 20/180 Rivered Set gets Min-Raised...
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
MP3 (t1500) CO (t1230) Button (t1470) SB (t1480) BB (t1500) UTG (t1380) Hero (t1480) MP1 (t1500) MP2 (t1960) This is about the 3rd hand into the tourney...no reads of course. Villain/Button is a winning player on OPR, although all his profit comes from 2 wins for 2007. I'm discounting ATcc, b/c i think he bets it a very high % of the time when flop is checked to him. Is this 2-pair/badly played AQ often enough for me to shove here? Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Q, Q. 1 fold</font>, Hero raises to t60</font>, 4 folds</font>, Button calls t60, SB calls t50, BB calls t40. Flop: (t240) K, 3, J (4 players)</font> SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, Button checks. Turn: (t240) 8 (4 players)</font> SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets t120</font>, Button calls t120, SB folds, BB folds. River: (t480) Q (2 players)</font> Hero bets t280</font>, Button raises to t620</font>, Hero...??? |

Re: Stars 20/180 Rivered Set gets Min-Raised...
I am definetly betting this flop, probably around 180-200. As played I am betting the turn 180-200. Villain played it like he was on a draw, and you kind of played it like a bluff, especially checking such a drawy board then leading on 4th street. ATs probably would have at least raised the flop or the turn. I think that his most likley hand is something like TT pr AJ or something like that, your small bet on the river looks like a half-hearted steal attempt and I think you probably have the best hand. I call.
