Teddy, I don't think your sticky idea will fly with the admins. Pretty much anything like that we sticky is considered an official 2+2 stance, which would have to be approved by Mason, who I think is unlikely to give it. Users are permitted to start threads like that obv, but we can't give them the endorsement of a sticky.

I think this is all becoming to disorganized.

I'll go ahead and volunteer to setup a website and domain to help organize all of the credible evidence if some of those who have spent a great deal of time on this fiasco in turn volunteer to help me retrieve and organize the most important data.

PM for information if you would like to assist.

in that case, why play at AP when every other site has a better bonus/rakeback deal? heh.

[/ QUOTE ]

if you want to talk further I'm more than happy to but would rather do it in PM's than muck up this thread. For many VIP elite small stakes limit players the perks make playing on AP +EV. Playing on AP makes me feel dirty but until somehow can show me a better place to play for benefits I'm not ready to leave

"How can this be true? I agree that maybe the risk of running into collusion is the same in a B&M, but there is absolutely no risk in a B&M that you will be playing with someone who is wearing special X-ray vision donk-goggles that allow him to see through the back of the cards and know the hole cards of everyone else at his table. That is a completely different level of a "crooked game." "

Um look at this dude...
http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007020419,00.html

crooks in England made +-$500 000 using a sleeve cam that was able to see everyones hole cards as they were dealt.
So B&M isnt that much safer IMO.
Apologies 4 being off topic again

[/ QUOTE ]

As far as I can tell, this was some kind of table game, not poker played against other players. I guess I will revise my initial qualifier from "absolutely no risk" to "only an infinitessimally small risk" that you will be playing at a B&M with James Bond and his camera crew monitoring everyone elses hole cards. I'll take my chances in the B&M.

lol, the conspiracy theories continues. Why am I not surprised?

[ QUOTE ]
Call me paranoid, but I do believe that all the posts here in defense of Absolute are coming from the same person. Certain accounts suggested I should use a standard deviation of 270 instead of 65 that I got from a winning player on pokerstars. They also suggested that I should use a t-distribution. Citation: "The t-distribution copes with uncertainty resulting from estimating the standard deviation from a sample, whereas if the population standard deviation were known, a normal distribution would be used." No one really seemed to know about statistics in this forum except drag who made some correct estimates and some other accounts that all were implying all the time by responding to each other that I should use a standard deviation of 270 instead of 65. Of course if you use a standard deviation that high the results get a lot more probable.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's what I suggested. ¨The 1:10^20 estimate is way off because instead of using a SD that is more likely to actually describe this donks play you choose to use a much smaller SD from a winning player !!!. Why? How can you you defend the validity of such estimates?

Absolute is not based in Canada. The Kahwanake Gaming Commission is. Absolute is based in Costa Rica (and all their employees are there as well).

[/ QUOTE ]

You can file a complaint in any case with the Kahwanake Gaming Commission.

[/ QUOTE ]

And if Kahwanake owns Absolute, as the case seems to be, then... what?

I think the problem is obvious.

I have no doubt that you are correct. Nonetheless, i don't regret taking the time to type that out, since it was a matter of principle for me.

What sort of process is involved in having sites officially blacklisted/rogued over at CasinoMeister.com?

I've read a few of the user's accounts of shadiness at other blacklisted sites and a lot of them sound like the standard "omg rigged" threads you'd find in BBV - needless to say it would be difficult for us to even try to be brief in describing our mountains of steaming evidence.

**I also read that some sites took the blacklisting seriously and arranged meetings with CM in order to address the issues and clean up their act, so it may be worthwhile**

- It was a good post Teddy, fwiw (even though the blue font hurt my eyes at this high hour).
