DogCrap is another fine player who raises UTG with 40BB, gets RRed by button with 50BB, and then 4-bets all in with A10o. This is my first open raise, I've been card dead thus far.

i think you're never better than 50/50 here so i think its pretty much jus ta matter of whether or not you can stand the variance.

i think i fold, but in the heat of the moment i might take this. coinflips early are so meh though.

Well if ATo is in his 4bet range, I'll wager that A9s and A8s may be as well, on top of several pocket pairs that you have utterly destroyed. Sure, he could have two overs here (and you know you're getting called regardless), but you're definitely ahead of his range.
