6Max line check needed, several points in question...
Not sure if calling preflop was the right thing (trying to make set obv. since we were both deep stacked...)
He was 23/15/.5, so was calling preflop good/bad against those numbers? After it checked around on the flop and i made the low end of straight on turn, i made a blocking bet with the intention of checking behind on the river if called....good/bad? Does this play beat checking behind on turn and calling a small river bet? Third point, short ass stack calls the turn bet, and instashoves the river....what to do? I didn't have a read on him......what do you guys think? Calling pf is what you should do. Also, top up to 100 mate.
The turn bet is fine imo as their is a flush draw out there and it has been checked to you. The sb is a little pain in the bum though for not reraising the turn with his 9, it makes you want to call. |

I dont know why u snap call the river. i dont know if you noticed but villain is a standard Tag, with aggro factor of 0.5. Most definitely beat here. He even flat called with his 9 to seee if he geta another player to tag along.

I call here, would be tougher if he had a bigger stack left on the river. You're probably beat, but every once in a while he's gonna show you a brilliantly slowplayed set or 2p.

this confuses me.
who's deepstacked? leveling? wtf? are you a shortstacker? preflop call is fine because he raised UTG and doesn't have a terribly wide range and you have position on him and his aggression factor looks really bad. your bet on the turn is for value (UTG looks like a station). i'd probably bet $9, instacall river. |

I like it although i'd bet more on the turn. you get 3-1 on the river and i'm sure you're good once in 4 here, probably more
