Default Tens overpair on river facing shove NL cash

I stacked villain about 50 hands earlier with a flopped set of 2s on a 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] flop when I check-raised the flop and he shoved over my turn lead with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] drawing dead. That was the only other time I have seen him shove. His stats are 35/24/3 but over not too many hands.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (BB): $403.50
SB: $211.50

Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">SB raises to $6.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $21.00</font>, SB calls $15.00

Flop: ($42) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $32.00</font>, SB calls $32.00

Turn: ($106) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, SB checks

River: ($106) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $50.00</font>, <font color="red">SB raises all-in to $158.50</font>, Hero?

3/1 on my money.

Should I have bet the turn and been prepared to get it in there?

I'd call honestly. This is either air or the nuts (99,7x,33) very often I'd have to think. Why else would he check behind on the turn and raise the river? He can't think you'll bluff the river often at all once you check the turn.

I don't mind your play on other streets - what are you doing if villain raises flop or bets turn?

Well I would start with lots of swearing then shove over a smallish bet and fold to a proper one. Bet sizes are still a tell at 1/2.

Although I sized my river value bet to get a light call I wonder if it also induces bluffs v certain players? Why can't I get the total passive and predicatable players that I see on every Cardrunners video I have ever seen? Must be my style but I get bluff raised soooo much.

Are you winning less than 25% of the time? No. Call.

This is one of those hands where I second guess myself and hit my computer and say how the [censored] do they always have a hand when I do also, but then i call and see A9 turned into a giant bluff.
