Default STT vs MTT

Hello everyone,
I am wondering why some of you chose to play STT or MTT tournaments. What do you feel are some of the pros and cons of each. Please dont state the obvious like smaller field, or smaller buy in bigger pay out.

8 tabling mtts = varied break schedule = no break
8 tabling sets of stts = a break at the end of every hour

I play stts to take the edge off of mtt variance. I think of stts like cash games. I'd play mtts exclusively only if

1) I had more time.
2) Could handle getting my money in as a favorite or coin flip at critical points of a mtt and losing over and over and over and over and over and over again.
