Sorry, I wrote that badly.

If he improved after the flop to beat you, he did it on the turn. But you still need to call for your overs/gutter.

Once you brick the river, you only win if he was on a straight bluff the whole way.

You dont win if he had a straight draw on the flop.

Again, written badly. I meant straight bluff as in a pure bluff, or something. Not as in a straight draw.

i know. however, the odds are compelling. if his range consists of more than 11% bluffs, then this is a +ev call. i think that folding here is giving him way too much credit without a better read, which i didn't have.
