I played the best session I've played in a LONG time.

I lost quite a few pots where I double barreled into the wrong fish, but still. I feel good about my game for the first time in almost a month.

Very nice thac, running hot is fun. I should know since I'm almost positive that I've run hot for about 9k hands at 50NL on ftp.

Thac, I believe you just moved down to NL$50 like me? You were a decent player at NL100$

It may well be just me but I'm pretty surprised at the gap between the 2 levels. Maybe I'm just playing better with $50 stacks.

I dunno what it is about 50 either, just the lack of aggression, it's pretty easy to run over.

Worst downswing ever this month...

Almost 25 buyins at 50 NL...luckily my bankroll is sufficient to stay at that level, but WTF, I've been a winning player for a long time and I feel like I'm playing my best poker ever... My biggest losing hands this month? KK, AKs, 33, AQo, and TT. Only made a set 25 times this month. "One pair" = -$464.00. "Two pair" = -$98.00. Yay for running bad!

Please, someone, give me your sympathy.

I know what you mean, I was expecting dropping down to be a real grind, but its turned into my most fun session in a long time because I can, profitably, be so blindly aggressive.

I think I've been 3-bet about 0.0006% of the amount I was a level above.

Yeah, here's my nl50 session in a nutshell:

raise, cbet, take it down
raise, cbet, double barrel, take it down
raise, cbet, fold to minraise, reload
raise, cbet, shove over their minraise
???????
profit

I used to really hate people dropping down to a level I was struggling with or grinding through and being all "ZOMG, EZ!! 15PTBB LOLZ" However my sessions have also gone just like you described.
