Default PS $11 20K in the money, 4 4 with blinds coming fast.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, about 250 left out of 2414 players
At this level the diff. in money from 1 place to the next is vertually nill.

People have been dropping like flies.
shoving with 8 2 os etc.

UTG+1 has been lucky lately, and since winning a few big pots, has been calling to see a lot of flops.

MP1 has seemed fairly solid, but has takin down a few unshown pots with re-raises.

Blinds are 600/1200 (9 handed)
ante is t125

BB (t23815)
UTG (t16856)
UTG+1 (t56761)
MP1 (t21252)
MP2 (t37105)
MP3 (t59596)
Hero (t10331)
Button (t3836)
SB (t26414)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls t1200, MP1 raises to t3600, 2 folds

Hero?

This is an easy fold to me. Even though the tournament is in shove anything mode, MP1 has a good size stack and is raising from early to mid position. He'll have irresistable odds to call you as well. Your hand is a flip at best here. With your stack I'm looking to be the first one in, and when you raise you're pushing.

I agree w/ BamBam. In HOH2 Inflection points, it mentions that first-in vigorish is the most important aspect when playing with a short(er) stack. I might push w/ just the call, but the raise in front of me has me folding all but the top hand ranges (JJ+, AK).

I agree

but with a Red Zone M,
(and my wife screaming "You gonna be on that computer all night? I gotta use it!")
It was a hard decision.

With two people in, and a raise, and they both have you covered I'd say fold. Wait for a spot to open push.

Get a laptop with a wireless card for your wife to use so you can play without being interrupted.

Thanks
she has one....(to replace the first one that she sat on), and recently dropped it.

She started her screaming early
I had pocket nines and a 9 showed as a middle card on a rainbow flop, 1 player went all in ahead of me and while I was trying to decide what to do about the 3 players to act behind me, she spun my chair around and started yelling
" It's only a Damn Game"

So I guess I'll have to buy laptop #3
or leave .....which now seems very +EV

Your other factor may push your decision a little towards calling. However, with a short stack, it's just a matter of time before your double-up or out moment. Even with marital pressures, I still think this is a fold.

So you think
Fold or if not (at worst) call but no push?
