Default Laydown Jacks against virtually unknown? (25nl)

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 9 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)
SB: $26.35
BB: $13.85
Hero (UTG): $26.25
UTG+1: $2.55
MP1: $10.35
MP2: $32.10
MP3: $13.60
CO: $9.75
BTN: $22.85

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (9 Players)
Hero raises to $1.00, 6 folds, SB raises to $4.00, BB calls $3.75, Hero calls $3.00

Flop: ($12) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB bets $10.25, 2 folds, Hero???

Villain is running around 6/0/inf, but only after 16 hands.

Best off to lay down the hand here and wait for a better spot against them or would anyone really bet that much in as an extreamly good c-bet / scared of overcards 77-TT??

The pre-flop 3bet basically screams a big hand. The only really big starting hand you can beat here is AK. Not to mention I find it hard to believe he'd do that with TT. Fold. He's betting almost a full pot to several players on rainbow board.

But make sure you take notes when you do see BB going to showdown. If he's a maniac, exploit it without mercy.

Folding is probably OK. Really, if you continue you will be pretty much committing to the pot which seems shaky.

Only 16 hands on him, but he hasn't indicated that he likes to play alot of hands so i'd give him some credit for being on the tight side.

At 25NL, i've noticed C Bets are usually smaller than this too so I tend to believe he has a pair, plus he bet into multiple people indicating even more strength.

Of course we may find out the villian is some crazy maniac later, but from what we know now, i'd say this is a fold.

I agree, it looks like a big hand that has you crushed here.
