100NL, tough OOP laydown after 3-bet PF, bad fold?

If I were to guess I would assume he's a bit tight. The 3-bet on the button seems standard enough to have a fairly wide range, but it just felt like a slightly ahead or 3 to 5 outs at best for me type situation on the flop. He claimed in chat to have K-J suited for a combo-draw that would have me a 60-40 dog. I am curious as to how seriously others might think about calling off $61.75 to win $98.75 in a situation like this. The only thing I would change at the moment is lead out on the flop for more, I could see how that would look really weak. [ QUOTE ]
why are you leading the flop [/ QUOTE ] I guessed at the time that if he had A-K he would likely just call my lame 1/2 pot lead, and if he had K-K, A-A, or T-T he would definitely raise it. Either way I get a little more information about where I'm at. If the two options for a different flop action are bet pot (instead of 1/2) or c/c his inevitable cbet, would you prefer check-calling? i don't feel like i get any new information about his hand with the c/c line, although it is a less expensive one than leading out. is there a benefit to checking the flop that i'm missing? |

Re: 100NL, tough OOP laydown after 3-bet PF, bad fold?
betting for information is lame, id usually check call here.
You probably should fold preflop though, oop at FR where everyone is a nit. This is 6max forum, post it in the FR forum (they will probably all want to fold preflop though since AQ is such a marginal hand!!) |
