Starting over again - What's the plan?

Alright, so I used to play 50nl and 100nl on Full tilt with about a $1800 roll. Around May (finals time), I made a series of bad decisions involving bankroll management, and withdrawing, and lending out money. Long story short, I went busto.

So I've kinda played off and on online off the rakeback, but mostly I've been too much of a degen to follow proper bankroll management.

So starting over again, and I'm gonna try to reconstruct my game from the bottom. I've been very bad at readjusting to lower stakes.

What do you think the ideal way for someone to learn the game is? What books, principles, archived posts and etc, do you suggest someone to read when learning? What site would you suggest playing to start up?

Any general comments you can provide?

Why would u need to read anything ... if you played that high you should crush micros w/o any reading/learning? BR management should be your only concern. Dont overplay your BR and you should be fine.

I would suggest reading:

to bring up some memories of how to play ABC TAG.
Then play lots of hands per day using 1 or 2 tables.
Then read some digests from uNL on the forums.
Then play more hands.
More hands.
Post some hands that you have played that you are not sure about (not just loosing hands) in this forum.
Book wise, I'd suggest the standard Theory of Poker and Super system. I would not over think these books though use experience first and theory second when starting out.
Read a lot on the forums and play a lot of hands.

And... I should be able to beat micros, but I think I'm really playing way too loose and not giving people enoguh credit. So I'm gonna try to rebuild my game, and try to avoid more marginal situations until I feel like I'm playing optimally again.

I've started over so many times I feel like an expert at it. I've been where you're at and hope to never be there again. My bankroll gets very protected now.

Can you afford CardRunners? It'll help get you back in the swing. Get PNL if you don't have it already. Study it.

Tighten up until you get your comfort back. Give credit even where it's not due.

Get rakeback somewhere. I started propping because I had an account everywhere else from back in the bonuswhoring days. The rakeback from propping is awesome, but the sites are tiny (weak). Great bankroll rebuilder.

I remember playing with you quite a few times. Jumping back in the saddle is usually the best bet.
