Its hard to equate this story to something in American sports due to the ridiculous circumstances surrounding:
A. Euro Soccer
B. Mourinho
C. Chelsea Football Club's recent success
D. Roman Abromovich

Uglyowl, imagine some rich Russian buying the KC Royals, spending a quarter of a billion dollars in 4 years buying players and signing one of the worlds best coaches. The after two league championships, firing him

Capello will be the man to take over at Chelsea IMO. Mourinho to take over at Real next summer after Schuster gets the Real annual summer sack.

No way. Roman wants beautiful football. Capello brings a defensive style. That's why he was sacked by Calderon . . .

However if Roman wants beautiful attacking free flow football, Guus Hiddink is his man, currently with Russia but has already managed a club/country at the same time, and with links to Abramovich via managing Russia, im actually convinced it will be him now.

Yeah, that's one rumor that's flying around at the moment.

Just a few months ago, Capello lost his job after winning La Liga. So how unusual is something like this?

2 league titles, 2 league cups, 1 fa cup. In charge of 60 of Chelsea's 66 games unbeaten (and counting) at home (how many teams in any sport can claim to go 66 games unbeaten and counting at home?). 1 defeat in 101 home games (not all under Mourinho but most), where we lost 2-1 to Barcelona with 10 men. Barcelona were the best side in Europe that season. 40 games unbeaten from October 2004 (lost 1-0 to Man city) to October 2005 (lost 1-0 to Man utd). Record points total in 2004-2005 with 95 points. Classic games Vs Barcelona(h), Bayern Munich(h), Man Utd(h) 3-0 to win the league. So many good memories last 3 years. Great manager who had great banter (people really took what he said too seriously) and loved by most of his players. I am absolutely gutted but not surprised this happened to be honest.
Despite this though, I am still positive and still feel Chelsea's future will be bright although it doesn't help that we have to play Man Utd away on Sunday.
