Re: AKs checkraised for the nut flush draw. We\'re pretty deep.

[ QUOTE ] Oh well. Calling is best. I shoved and he thought for an age before calling with 45spades. Turn was 2d. River Ad. eugh. [/ QUOTE ] Are you saying now that you know his hand, calling is best? I would love to have your hand vs villians any day. Don't be result oriented, in this case, Push was +EV. [/ QUOTE ] wtf how is saying that calling flop is best results oriented? |

Don't be result oriented, in this case, Push was +EV. [/ QUOTE ] Call is more +EV than push here, though. Villain may fold to a flop push if he considers his flush outs to be counterfeit, and we'd prefer to have all the money in, as OP is the favorite on the flop. |

[/ QUOTE ] No, I can assure you this is not results orientated. As villain pondered his call my immediate thought was that I needed feedback on this hand because I was unsure whether I had made the correct move. |

I think calling the flop is definitely best given how deep you are. If villain is calling a reraise on the flop almost two buyins deep your ace and king outs are very likely not good.

calling flop is definately more profiteable than folding or 3-betting/shoving.
