Default 50nl: Bad stack off with tiny set?

I know sets are the nuts at 50nl but I am aware that sometimes they need to be folded. Is this such a spot? Villian seemed solid and had 20.79 / 3.96 / 2.95 stats over 202 hands. He views me as a LAG. If this is standard I apologize for wasting time again.

He's solid at 20/4/3 ?

This could be Q/AQ/AA in that order imo, but im still going broke here mostly.

you don't have bottom set. i bet the flop cause you're getting paid by AK here. this is not a spot to fold 555. ever.

Not solid. I meant nitty. I felt that if called I was behind. I forgot what I was taught. Probably should've folded given stacks sizes but I just need reassurance I'm not totally stupid especially since I wasn't tilting at the time.

If you ran into AA or QQ there that's just a std cooler. Enough 20/4 villains are stacking off there with AQ/AK or worse to where you just can't fold this here

Well with a PFR like that and the fact youve posted this hand he obviously had QQ, but dont be results oriented. Just because he checked the flop doesn't mean he doesnt have an ace, so AQ is live here, as is a poorly played AK, or KK. I can see how it really looks like he has QQ but I cant fold.

FWIW I donk this flop almost always as AK will likely stack off to you. FWIW if I was MP and I had AK here I would consider checking also, so AK is possible on this turn.

Ok, I see it wasn't terribly played. FWIW I lead the vast majority of the time here but I expected him to c-bet with an ace and check (and would've folded to my lead) without one. Turns out he had two aces. Thanks guys. I'm still so new to NL and I went for what felt like 80k hands without set over set, now it happens all the time. I want my luckbox skills back.

Looks fine to me, some people will check this flop with AK/AQ, although less likely multiway. Cooler if he had QQ
