180BB deep, turn decision for stack with top two and NFD
Ok just starting out in Omaha Hi, so I don't really know what I am doing but would appreciate the help.
The hand is from $10 PLO on FTP, I don't have the history but I recall all the details accurately: Stacks: Hero is the Button $36 stack SB has around $10 BB has $18 aprox Preflop Action: Folds to Hero Hero raises to .35 with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] - I have no idea about starting hands but I assume this wasn't that smart. I will take some time to learn some preflop hands soon, but not the point of the topic. SB calls BB calls Pot $1.05 Flop A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB checks BB pots for $1.10 (i think might be 5c off either way) Hero repots to $4.40 SB folds BB calls Pot ($9.85) Turn T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB moves all-in for $9 Hero ?? |

Re: 180BB deep, turn decision for stack with top two and NFD
Preflop on the button, raising is fine for a steal, just don't get excited if you flop an ace with no kicker.
As the hand played out, the rest of it is standard. You can't fold the turn ever here. Raising or fold preflop, either is fine, although I would be a lot happier if the 9 in your hand was a 6. Then it's an easy raise. |
