Re: NL 25 KK turn brings A
looks like this guy is going to put you to the test. I am bet folding here...but I prefer a strong bet. 10 or so.
you cant c/c because he will just shove river. Well i guess you could c/c turn if you plan to call river too. |

Re: NL 25 KK turn brings A
Meh.
I started responding by saying your prolly still good... But if he has a tendancy to ovevalue hands then AQ/AJ/A8/A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]x[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] just got there. Plus it's the sorta flop you could be crushed on and he could be slow playing you. I really hate c/f but I think betting is a leak because if he pushes wwhich he might do with a huge range of hands you need to fold. Save the bet I guess. |

Re: NL 25 KK turn brings A
Keep firing until he tells you to back down. The problem (?) with the turn is that his stack size is relatively small ($15), so he will probably either fold or shove to any bet you make. His range is pretty wide here, however, so I probably would just make a $6-7 bet and call a shove. With aggro players like these, I like to let the villain spew. If you shove the turn, he might fold his Q, but a small/weak bet might prompt him to shove his lesser hand.
I don't know how well I play against short stacks, but I generally find that once a LAGgy short stack makes it to the turn and his stack is about the size of the pot, he is pretty much going AI with any piece of the board. It would be hard to lay down KK to any bet size he can make. |

His range is wide, but the flop and turn hit wide ranes really hard. I think betting = guessing.

Re: NL 25 KK turn brings A
His stack is so small, why would any of you fold to an AI raise?

Re: NL 25 KK turn brings A
Ya...i guess b/f isn't a good idea...i need to learn to look at stack sizes.
I think i now like a crai. |

Re: NL 25 KK turn brings A
CRAI is bad in this spot since he may just check behind and get a free look at a flush.
I would probably bet $7.00 or so and call a push figuring to be ahead of a range of hands he could have including some draws. Wouldnt be surprised though if he floated flop with AdAx. |

[ QUOTE ]
His stack is so small, why would any of you fold to an AI raise? [/ QUOTE ] Give me a range we beat, and give me a reason this range is viable. Stacks are effectively 20.55 (82 bb's) By the turn, the effetive stack sizes are $15.55 The pot is $10.25 If we bet 8, a reasonable ammount, and he pushes we are being offered (10.25+15.55) 25.8 (15.55 - 8 ) 7.55 or 3.4:1 If we bet 7 we are being offered slightly worse odds: around 3:1 If he pushes then I think this range is accurate: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 31.250% 30.33% 00.92% 774 23.50 { KcKh } Hand 1: 68.750% 67.83% 00.92% 1731 23.50 { QQ-JJ, 88, AQs-AJs, A8s, Ad4d, KJs+, QJs, AQo-AJo, A8o, KJo+, QJo } I realise this is getting away from the point, but if we bet 7 we can fold, if he bet 8+we have to call, but either way I think if he shoves we are dead. |
