chipper has been the best player in the NL all year long...hed be a mortal lock w/o missing games for the thumb but I still think he should be in the top 3 despite the braves; theyd be completely pathetic without him

chipper is having a fantastic season and if he hadn't missed those games due to injury, would have a real shot at the mvp. i hope he gets the batting title and the gold glove. fantastic year for a future hall of famer
