Default I want to deal at the world series

I was in Vegas at the weekend and thought it would be rather cool to deal in the world series next year.

Now to explain I am from Ireland but I am currently living and working in California on a J1 visa which is a visa you get in college which allows you to work here for 4 months. So getting a visa next year shouldn't be an issue.

Back in Ireland I have been a dealer for 18 months and dealt in various biggest tournaments including the Irish Open in April which is the biggest tournament held in Europe so I have a good amount of experience.

So I was wondering what is required for this, I hear you need some sort of gaming license to work in Nevada, is that true, is it hard to get and will be issued to a non citizen?
Also, does anyone have an address or contact site for someone in Harrahs and generally how likely or unlikely it is that they would consider me

Any other thoughts of my plan in general would be appreciated, is it good/bad/plain stupid
Cheers

You'll need the gaming license though from what i've looked up and seen on here (i'm looking to move to vegas myself) it's not that hard to get.

One thing i've read alot of though is that Harrahs doesn't treat it's dealers that well.

To flip the question around, What do I have to do to get a job dealing in Ireland? I would love to do that.

In Ireland? Does having the promise of employment get me a visa?

Actually, you need a Gaming Permit which the casino will sponsor you for. The gaming liscense is strictly for gaming establishments or companies profiting directly fromn the games.

If you're legal to work in the US you should be able to just show up at the Rio and do the audition in the Spring. You ain't gettin' hired sight-unseen.
