Everyday life is way too boring to make a movie about too.

I got up, I took a shower, I ate breakfast, I turned on SportsCenter...etc etc. But movies about life can still be good. Or they can suck. It depends.

A full baseball season isn't exactly the peak of excitement either. He struck out. He struck out again. He hit a long foul ball. He hit a single and was left stranded on base.

But there are decent baseball movies that have been made too.
Lots of really awful baseball movies have been made also of course.
It has almost nothing to do with the fact that it was a movie about baseball though. Some movies are good and some movies are bad.

It's not that poker is that difficult to involve in a good film. It's that no recent good film has happened to include poker.

If every baseball film was The Scout with Brendan Fraser and they just kept making it over and over again then all baseball films would suck.
Essentially, this is what is happening with many poker films today like the Tilt series and Lucky You. They are so horrible that they are just The Scout over and over.

This is the only movie about poker that would be interesting. Hopefully Doyle will pull together his autobiograpy and sell the lot of stories to a producer.

Nothing could be worse than Lucky You. There has been no decent poker movie, hell Casino Royale would have been one of the best Bond flicks ever if they didn't bring poker into it (tipping the dealer? I mean seriously do they read their own scripts?)

casino royale was a piece of [censored]. the only good part of the movie was the getaway-scene in the start, after that the movie should have just ended.

just watched lucky you last night. so terrible, and they cast poker in a very bad light.
the pros in the movie should've read the script before they agreed to do it.
