ATs UI on paired board HU
Villain is Unknown.
Should I bet or check the turn? Is villain correct to peel this flop with Ax, Kx or UI overs w/ BD draws here? Can also se him having a lot of Fd:s. What if i check behind turn and the river is blank. Do we have to call then? Limit: $2/$4 6 players Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 folds, Hero raises, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds. Re: ATs UI on paired board HU
as a general rule your default should progress along a gradient scale that looks something like this:
- check turn, check river/fold to a bet - bet/fold turn, check river UI - check turn call river - bet/call down for the weakest/most passive opponents you should start at the top, as they get more aggro you work your way down. |

Should I bet or check the turn? [/ QUOTE ] I'd bet unless he will bluff the river a lot if you check. If you think you can valuebet him twice you should bet. [ QUOTE ] Is villain correct to peel this flop with Ax, Kx or UI overs w/ BD draws here? [/ QUOTE ] Villain is correct to peel any 2 cards if you check the turn a lot. [ QUOTE ] What if i check behind turn and the river is blank. Do we have to call then? [/ QUOTE ] If you check behind turn on this board with Ax and the folds to a river bet you are very easy to play against. Villain will have a lot of worse hands in his range prior to the river and he doesnt need to bluff them very often for a bet to be correct. |

Re: ATs UI on paired board HU
bet/fold vs. passives, bet/calldown vs. maniacs, value check if you aren't sure. i am rarely if ever folding to a river bet after i check here.
